2010 Achievements
2010 marked a lot of great milestones for SOLE:
- We launched our first fall/winter line of footwear.
- We celebrated the inception and growth of our ReCORK program.
- We were voted “Footwear of the Year” by Gearist.com.
- We successfully completed our 10th year as a brand.
We are also reflecting about the significant accomplishments and record-breaking performances of those athletes partnering with SOLE:
Rebecca Rusch
Rebecca had an incredible 2010. She consistently staked her place at the top of the podium in races including:- Trans Andes Challenge
- Tour of Patagonia
- Cascade Cream Puff
- Leadville Trail 100
- USAC Masters XC World Championships
In addition to standing at the top of these podiums, she shattered the Leadville 100 women's course record – beating it by 7:47! It's no wonder Rebecca will be awarded the Mountain Biker of the Year award at the Endurance LIVE Gala on January 22nd.
Jordan Romero
On May 22, 2010, at the age of 13, Jordan Romero reached the summit of Mount Everest. The years, months, days, hours and minutes of training – mentally, physically, emotionally – paid off. Need I write more!?Marie-Louise Stenild
Marie-Louise Stenild completed her 7th marathon, on 7 continents, in 7 days on November 5th, 2010. Wow. That even sounds exhausting...While you may not have summited a mountain, ran 7 marathons, or mountain biked for 100 miles straight, we'd love to hear about your accomplishments in 2010. What are your goals for 2011?
