Off to Antarctica

There are lots of things that get me excited about my job, and receiving video messages from SOLE-sponsored athletes is one of them! Less than 18 hours before Team Jordan is to fly from Southern Chile to Antarctica, I received the video below in my email inbox:

Is it the video itself that gets me excited? No. It's the fact that I've known Jordan Romero since he was 9 years old, and it's AMAZING to see him so close to accomplishing his Seven Summits goal.

For those of you that would like to follow Jordan's climb via GPS, visit jordanromero.com, and you can watch him make history.

On the other end of the globe...I am wearing my Sole insoles that I got as an Ambassador Athlete for Ames Adventure Outfitters here in Greenland. They work well and give support in my Sorrels at -30F. Burrrrr!
