Inside SOLE's Weekend: The Stoke

Our last hoorah of summer

My name is Greg Davidson — I'm a Web Developer here at SOLE. This past weekend I took my young family on one last little adventure before school began. We headed to Halcyon Hotsprings near Revelstoke, BC. To get to Halcyon, you take a 40 minute drive south of Revelstoke, a short ferry ride and then 10 more minutes of driving once you get to the other side. The ferry ride turned out to be pretty epic thanks to some serious wind, but my boys (8, 6 and 3 years old) loved it. We had a great time at the hotsprings and headed back to Revelstoke that night.

Choo choo!

The next day we checked out the Revelstoke Railway Museum which was pretty cool and had some old railway cars we could climb into and look around. My favourite was the Caboose. Our last stop before heading home was the Aquatic Center which was a lot of fun. I hope to make it back to Revelstoke this winter to ride some pristine, steep powder at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Thanks to my Wife for the photos.
