Inside SOLE's Weekend: Mountains & Marathons
Calgary has had an unusually wet and cold summer this year, wheat crops actually had too much rain in Alberta. BUT, this last weekend, we had wonderful 20 degree Celsius temperatures and blue skies!
On Saturday Alyssa (Customer Service Manager) ran the Harvest Half Marathon
It was a great course that spanned through Fish Creek Park in south Calgary, and had no shortage of hills! She's pretty happy because it was a tough course, but managed to finish just below the 2 hour mark.
On Thursday, September 30th, Mike (CEO) welcomed the arrival of his third child, a healthy baby boy. He spent his weekend getting to know the newest member of the Baker family, which included introducing him to the world of SOLE.
Kendra's (Hardware Technology Developer) usual speed walking pace around the office slowed down this week due to her over zealous activity level this last weekend. She went for a great 67km bike ride around the Lake Minnewanka (Banff area) area on Saturday and then scrambled her way to the top of The Big Sister (Canmore Area) on Sunday.
