Post 7x7x7 testimonial from Marie-Louise Stenild
I would call myself a runner. A leisurely runner, but a runner none-the-less. I typically run with one purpose: to "clear my head." Marie-Louise Stenild, on the other hand, runs with a much larger purpose: to raise funds for children and their families in the fight to battle cancer. In addition to this, Marie-Louise completed 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents, and gave all the charitable donations to Adam Rogers Trust. Wow.
As I learned of Marie-Louise's great feat, I wondered what running the 7x7x7 would do to her feet, knees, and hips. After all, there is very little recovery time, and the altitude changes from continent to continent must encourage swelling... Well, I am happy to write that we received the following testimonial from Marie-Louise, and SOLE has passed the 7x7x7 test!
I used the SOLE insoles in my running shoes – they covered 7x7x7 too! I do believe that the insoles helped absorb some of the impact, and kept my feet nicely aligned. Despite all that running, I only had a little pain in my right knee during the final marathon in London, which is incredible really!
I was happy to give the flip-flops a go, but have to say normally I cannot wear flip-flops, but I absolutely love the SOLE ones! I wore them whenever I was walking around between the marathons, and found the string between my toes was fine, and the support underneath the foot was very good. I normally feel it in my back when I wear flip-flops but these were really, really good, and being able to air my feet made a great difference too.
There you have it. Marie-Louise conquered 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents with SOLE's help. How about you? How does SOLE help you get through your day?
