Signature Dean Karnazes innersoles are totally the BEST. They greatly improve what is already the best trail shoe I have ever worn - the Salomon XA 3D Pro Ultra in WIDE width. The innersoles cushion the bottom of the foot from nubs and rocks on the trail AND they keep trail heat from invading the shoe from the bottom - my feet are running much cooler. I am doing about 20 to 25 miles a week in the Santa Monica mountains of LA in mid-day in the middle of the summer. Age 66, just coming back from a total hip replacement.
